Providence Care Center's New Rehabilitation Center

Providence Care Center, known as a leading provider of rehabilitation and nursing facility, has recently completed its $2 million renovation. This renovation included:

  • State-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility
  • Person-Focused Care Program
  • Fine dining

This investment was designed to address the needs of the senior citizen, but also younger patients who are recovering from joint surgery, stroke or other shorter- term healthcare challenges. Hotel/Home-like Amenities and Fine Dining

The second goal was to make sure that while you are at Providence getting back on course, we want you to feel comfortable and cared for, but still allow you to maintain a sense of freedom. Taking advantage of Providence's original unique building design, the first floor rooms have been dedicated to short-term rehabilitation stays. They are home/hotel-like, professionally designed and appointed with:

  • new flooring and carpet
  • wall coverings
  • electric beds
  • flat panel TVs with cable

During your stay at Providence, you may want to invite a family member or friend to join you for lunch or dinner in our new dining facility with our chef-prepared meals. You may miss your special pet – we welcome a visit.

Person-Focused Care Program

The third goal was to initiate a Person-Focused Care Program at Providence that focuses on the individual’s needs. This program is dedicated to changing the culture in how patient services are provided. It is an approach that provides the patient with more say in how their care is delivered. A patient may want to have their therapy later in the morning or choose to eat dinner a little later in the evening, and be able to select from a menu variety. You may even choose to sleep in if you so desire. It’s all about choices in care for each resident.
