They made me really happy so I thought, well, you know, if I ever have to go this is where I'm coming. And lo and behold, I had to come so this is where I was. The best thing about Providence Care Center is the employees. They treat you like you’re a real person and the minute you want something somebody’s right there to give it to you. The day that I come in here, that day I started therapy. And I had therapy all day, only for lunch breaks and stuff like that, and I had therapy all day except the weekends and no time at all they had me out of here. Providence Care Center helped me by treating me like a real human being. And I would recommend Providence to anybody who needs therapy, to come in here and get it, because they really take care of you.”
“I had a leg injury, and my foot swelled up and my leg and I just couldn’t move at all. I had to be on an I.V., and I couldn’t get around my house at all so I came down here. They had me on walkers and going up and down steps because my home, in my home - I have a two story house, and I have to get up and down and around, and they got me going pretty good. I improved at the Providence Care Center because I couldn’t get around at all when I come in here. And they looked after me and really gave me every time I needed any help they were there for me. The best thing about the Providence Care Center is the people. The people down here are just great. They’re just like family and that's the truth. I come down here and volunteer on my time off, down in the cafeteria and everything, and these people here are just wonderful. I really think it’s a big secret that people haven’t found out how great it is down here. The food’s great, it’s clean as a pin, it’s just what everybody would want. I really enjoy coming down here and anybody who really cares about their family and that this is the place to bring them. It’s just a wonderful place, it really is.”
“This last time I had to have a pacemaker put in. And after it was put in I was weak and the doctor said, ‘You need some rehabilitation,’ so this is where I came, to Providence. Providence Care Center helped me. I worked with the people in therapy and they got me back on my feet and back out to my home. Some of my favorite things at Providence Care Center are the staff that I worked with in therapy and on the floor, and I made friends with a good many of them and friends with some of the residents here and that’s why I come back now and do volunteer work.”
